Job Summary:
The Norfolk Tides are seeking a motivated and dependable Seasonal Assistant to join our Stadium Operations team for the 2027 Minor League Baseball season. This position offers an opportunity to work in professional sports and assist with the daily operation of Harbor Park.

The Norfolk Tides are the Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, playing at Harbor Park in downtown Norfolk, Virginia. The team captured the 2023 International League and Triple-A National Championships, showcasing one of the deepest prospect groups in baseball. With a family-friendly atmosphere, engaging promotions, and strong community ties, the Tides are a cornerstone of baseball in Hampton Roads.

Essential Duties:
- Assist stadium operations staff with general maintenance tasks including painting, ceiling tile replacement, and pressure washing.
- Learn and assist with basic operations functions such as housekeeping, parking, security, and gameday staff coordination.
- Restock restrooms and maintain organization of stadium storage areas.
- Support daily stadium cleaning procedures.
- Participate in setup and breakdown procedures for gamedays and special events held at Harbor Park.
- Help field operations with tarp, clearing firework debris, and related tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support stadium operations and ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or working towards a degree in a related field.
- Previous experience working with a professional team or collegiate program is preferred.
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Must be available to work long hours, weekends, and some holidays.
- Comfortable being exposed to inclement weather including rain and heat.
- Ability to work all 75 Norfolk Tides home games and select special events.
