Summary:
The Director, Digital Growth Marketing will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of the Miami Dolphins' customer lifecycle, with responsibility for fan acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth across all stages of the customer journey.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Revenue Operations, this role will oversee CRM strategy, audience segmentation, marketing automation, customer journey orchestration, and lifecycle communications across email, paid media, SMS, and mobile app channels. The position will serve as a critical connector between Revenue Operations, Ticket Sales, Membership Services, Brand Marketing, Digital Product, Analytics, and Partnership teams to drive measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in CRM, lifecycle marketing, customer segmentation, paid media strategy, and marketing automation with a strategic mindset focused on maximizing fan value, membership retention, database growth, and lifetime customer value.

- This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
Customer Growth & Lifecycle Strategy
- Own the Miami Dolphins lifecycle marketing strategy, including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, upsell, and win-back programs
- Develop customer journey frameworks that improve fan engagement, increase retention, and drive ticketing and membership revenue
- Design and execute audience segmentation strategies that enable personalized communications and experiences across the customer lifecycle
- Partner closely with Ticket Sales, Membership Services, Premium Sales, and Analytics teams to support revenue growth initiatives
- Establish lifecycle strategies that increase customer lifetime value and strengthen long-term fan relationships
CRM & Marketing Automation
- Own lifecycle execution across email, paid media, SMS, and mobile app channels
- Lead marketing automation strategy within HubSpot
- Develop automated customer journeys, nurture programs, renewal campaigns, onboarding series, and retention workflows
- Ensure data quality, audience governance, and lifecycle best practices across all customer communications
- Partner with Digital Product teams to improve fan profiling, preference capture, personalization, and first-party data collection
Audience & Segmentation
- Develop and maintain customer segmentation frameworks based on behavioral, transactional, demographic, and engagement data
- Build audience strategies that improve campaign relevance and marketing efficiency
- Partner with Analytics to identify growth opportunities through customer insights, cohort analysis, propensity modeling, and fan behavior trends
- Create scalable audience governance and targeting methodologies that can be consistently utilized across the organization
Membership Retention & Revenue Growth
- Lead customer marketing initiatives supporting season ticket memberships, premium seating, upgrades, renewals, and retention efforts
- Identify opportunities to increase conversion rates, retention rates, and customer value through lifecycle optimization
- Support database growth initiatives through lead generation, fan acquisition programs, and customer enrichment strategies
- Develop lifecycle programs designed to drive increased engagement and monetization across Dolphins fan segments
Performance Measurement & Optimization
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to evaluate lifecycle performance
- Monitor campaign effectiveness across engagement, retention, conversion, revenue, and database growth metrics
- Lead testing and optimization efforts across lifecycle communications, messaging, timing, audience strategy, and customer journeys
- Present insights, recommendations, and performance reporting to executive leadership
- Translate data into actionable recommendations that drive improved business outcomes
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as a partner to Brand Marketing, Digital Product, Content, Creative, Social Media, and Ticketing teams
- Participate in integrated campaign planning to ensure lifecycle programs support key business initiatives and organizational priorities
- Lead and mentor lifecycle marketing team members while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement
- Champion a customer-first approach to decision-making across the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Communications, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, customer marketing, growth marketing, or related disciplines
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Advanced experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub or similar marketing automation platforms
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management, audience segmentation, retention marketing, and marketing automation
- Demonstrated success driving measurable growth through email, SMS, mobile app, CRM, and customer journey optimization
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting customer and campaign performance data
- Exceptional collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally across marketing, sales, analytics, technology, and operations teams
- Experience in sports, entertainment, subscription businesses, hospitality, or customer-centric industries preferred
