Job description

The Rams are looking for a Specialist, Digital Marketing, to join the team. This role is primarily responsible for building and delivering high-quality email marketing communications with a heavy focus on growing fan engagement and generating ticket/merchandise sales.  

The ideal candidate has experience in direct-to-customer messaging, automation, personalization, and optimizing marketing message design with a proven track record in email development.  

Please note: This is an onsite role based out of Woodland Hills, CA. 

Responsibilities:  
  • Build and deploy personalized email and other direct marketing communications  
  • Set up and maintain automations within marketing automation software, including transactional, life/tenure events, and upsell messages  
  • Work with the ticketing department to build and deploy necessary operational emails 
  • Maintain direct marketing calendar and organization of associated assets, email templates and audiences  
  • Develop and implement key processes of direct marketing including proofing/approval, service level agreements, and quality assurance  
  • Develop a thorough quality assurance checklist for all email marketing communications including the accuracy of all segments, content blocks/maps, copy, links, free marker script and other code  
  • Conduct benchmarking of trends in email and other direct marketing and institute best practices  
  • Ensure compliance of email, direct mail, and SMS with applicable internal and government-imposed rules  
  • Research and integrate new direct marketing technology  
  • Create email templates and own webforms for cross-functional team usage  
  • Analyze campaign-by-campaign performance and report insights to marketing leadership   
  • Plan and propose new approaches across all marketing communications to acquire new fans, grow fandom, and convert leads into sales 
  • Support other Fan Marketing department and wider marketing initiatives as needed  


Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • Two or more years of experience in direct marketing initiatives with a heavy focus on email marketing  
  • Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other cloud-based asset development and automation software  
  • Experience working with dynamic email templates/content to handle multiple segments and optimize for mobile 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and HTML experience preferred  
  • Experience working extracting, cleansing, and formatting customer audiences for marketing purposes  
  • Experience prioritizing multiple tasks concurrently based on larger goals  
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting with all levels of the organization  
  • Strong time management, interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment  
  • Positive team player with excellent interpersonal skills  
  • Housing and transportation within 45 miles of Woodland Hills, CA. The Rams require 4 days in office per week (Monday - Thursday). 
  • Reliable transportation is required for periodic local travel and all work-related mileage will be reimbursed  
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.  

 

Salary: $70,304/yr. - $73,500/yr.
