Plumbing Technician

Summary:
The Plumbing Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial plumbing systems at Hard Rock Stadium.
Location:
- This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, install, and repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water or drainage systems according to specifications or plumbing codes
- Interpret and apply mechanical and structural blueprints to plan plumbing repairs and modifications
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner
- Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each job
- Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean
- Respond to emergency calls as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Plumbing training program or apprenticeship.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in plumbing maintenance and repair.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical and HVACR systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand tools effectively.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, standing, and working in confined spaces.
- Work is performed in various settings at the stadium. May require working in extreme temperatures and confined spaces. Use of protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.
