SportsCareers is free to use
No paid tier. No employer-side fees. No résumé hosting. The entire job board, all 1,800+ open roles across MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, and major sports betting companies, is free to browse — with or without an account.
What you get without an account
Full access to every job listing across the platform. Filter by league, team, department, job type, and location. Click any listing to view the full description and apply directly through the hiring organization's career page. Use the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, or Sports Betting league pages to narrow by category. Read the long-form answers, the career glossary, the FAQ, and the original resource guides.
What a free account adds
Save jobs to a personal list that persists across devices. Mark roles as applied to maintain an application tracker. Subscribe to a daily email digest of new roles in the leagues you select. Future features (alerts, match recommendations, candidate analytics) will be added to the free tier as they ship.
Common pricing questions
How much does SportsCareers cost?
Free. There is no paid tier and no employer-side fees. Browsing the job board does not require an account. A free account unlocks saved jobs, an application tracker, and an optional daily email digest of new roles in the leagues you care about.
Do you charge employers to list jobs?
No. SportsCareers aggregates jobs directly from the applicant tracking systems sports teams already use — Workday, Teamwork Online, iCIMS, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and others. Teams do not pay to be listed and do not need to do anything to participate. Read more about the ATS fragmentation that makes this necessary.
Will SportsCareers ever add a paid tier?
We are not planning to introduce a paid tier for the core product. If we ever add premium features (e.g., advanced search, AI-driven matching, or candidate analytics), they would be optional add-ons on top of the existing free tier — never a paywall around basic browsing or applying.
Do you collect résumés or insert yourself between candidates and employers?
No. SportsCareers does not host applications or collect résumés. Every Apply button on a job listing redirects to the hiring organization's official career page. We are a discovery layer — once you find a role, you apply directly through the employer's own ATS. See the About page for more on how the platform works.
