We are seeking an experienced and motivated Marketing Event Ambassador to join our team. In this role, you will support all facets of lead generation, data capture, fan surveying, and brand strategy while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.

 

Your Role on the Team

  • Work both on- and off-site events—including home games, special events, sports tournaments, partner appearances and festivals—to promote the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury while driving fan engagement and lead generation.
  • Execute fan engagement and data-capture strategies at events, meeting lead generation goals through surveys, email and SMS sign-ups, ticket interest forms, and interactive brand activations.
  • Accurately collect, enter and maintain fan data in accordance with organizational guidelines and applicable privacy requirements.
  • Clearly communicate the value of data capture opportunities, including promotions, contests, ticket offers and exclusive experiences, to encourage fan participation.
  • Manage the operational execution of event activations, including distributing promotional items, facilitating contests and promotions, supporting photo opportunities, and providing general information about the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury.
  • Promote Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury products, programs and ticketing opportunities through interactive activations, contests and fan experiences.
  • Complete all required post-event wrap-up forms, including attendance, engagement, lead totals, data-capture results, observations and activation recaps, following each event.

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Enthusiastic and Passionate about our teams and the game of basketball!
  • Friendly and outgoing personality, comfortable approaching and talking to fans in high energy environments
  • Sales, promotional, or outreach experience are a plus. Ability to communicate information in an audible, clear, and concise manner
  • Organized multi-taskers with outstanding problem-solving capabilities in a rapidly changing work environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, be customer-service oriented. One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • We prefer candidates with previous marketing/promotional/event/street team experience
  • Ability to transit throughout the arena for long periods of time.
  • This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is <5%
  • S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
