At the Tennessee Titans, we’re dedicated to a winning culture, making a meaningful impact in our community, and creating moments that bring people together. We pursue excellence in everything we do and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and relentless commitment because we are dedicated to being a part of something bigger than ourselves.
What you’ll be doing
The Tennessee Titans are looking for a Stadium Events Manager to bring energy, precision, and a collaborative spirit to Nissan Stadium’s events.
The Stadium Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating the logistics of non-revenue-generating stadium events, serving as the primary point of contact for internal events activating ancillary spaces such as the Lawn (exterior space connected to the new building), the community room, and similar venues. This role occasionally supports full stadium events (football games, concerts) as needed, but its primary focus is on internal and community-facing programming rather than large-scale, revenue-generating events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for generating stadium events, with a primary focus on internal events activating the Lawn, community room, and other ancillary spaces
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate all logistics for assigned events, acting as the stadium representative for internal stakeholders, partners, and clients
- Manage execution of event elements as needed, including technical needs, parking, food & beverage, guest services, operations, and security
- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to communicate event objectives, schedules, recommended staffing, and equipment rental needs
- Create and distribute event documents outlining operational needs across departments, ensuring all event requirements are met
- Assist in preparing Pre-Event Cost Estimates for internal budgeting purposes; coordinate Post-Event Financial Settlements with Finance as applicable
- Implement and enforce facility regulations, policies, and procedures across all areas of assigned events
- Organize and lead production meetings with internal departments, community partners, and vendors to align on event goals and logistics
- Oversee production, setup, staffing, and contracted services for assigned events
- Provide support for full stadium events (football games, concerts) on an as-needed basis
What you’ll bring
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in event management
- Experience coordinating with internal stakeholders, community partners, and vendors
- Strong organizational, budgeting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead production meetings and coordinate across departments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Stadium, arena, or large-venue experience
- Familiarity with venue scheduling and operations software (e.g., Momentous/Venue Ops)
Core Competencies:
- Communication: Serves as the primary point of contact for internal events. This role creates and distributes event documents across departments while leading production meetings with stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
- Collaboration: Coordinates across internal departments (parking, F&B, guest services, security) and external community partners/vendors.
- Problem Solving: Manages event logistics, staffing needs, and budget estimates by troubleshooting operational gaps in real time (equipment shortfalls, scheduling conflicts, vendor issues).
- Accountability: Owns the end-to-end execution of events, from pre-event cost estimates through post-event financial settlement.
- Adaptability: Exhibits the ability to work flexible hours tied to an unpredictable event calendar, while occasionally supporting full-scale stadium events (games, concerts) on short notice.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Work Environment: Office/Field
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Schedule: Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
