Who are we hiring?

The Manager, Retail & Inventory Systems is a hands-on working manager responsible for the systems, inventory controls, and daily warehouse processes that support the KC Current retail business. This position maintains accurate product and inventory information across Shopify, Retail Cloud, POS, RFID, and related platforms while also performing and coordinating receiving, fulfillment, inventory counts, merchandise movement, and match-day warehouse support.

Working across e-commerce, warehouse, procurement, retail stores, and event operations, this role helps ensure merchandise is accurately received, organized, fulfilled, transferred, and reflected in the appropriate systems. The position also develops documentation, researches discrepancies, produces operational reporting, and identifies practical improvements to retail and inventory processes.

What will you do?
  • Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations
  •  Oversee daily e-commerce order fulfillment, including picking, packing, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment or customer pickup.
  • Receive incoming merchandise and verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and transfer documentation.
  • Inspect shipments for shortages, damage, or discrepancies and coordinate resolution with appropriate internal partners.
  • Process, organize, label, RFID-tag, and prepare newly received inventory for storage or distribution.
  • Pick and prepare merchandise for replenishment across retail locations, events, and mobile retail operations.
  • Maintain an organized fulfillment area and a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse.
  • Monitor packaging, shipping, receiving, RFID, and fulfillment supplies and communicate purchasing needs.
  • Support inventory transfers, returns, damages, and other merchandise movements through accurate handling and documentation.

Retail Systems Administration
  • Maintain accurate product, pricing, inventory, order, and customer information across Shopify, Retail Cloud, POS, RFID, and other retail systems.
  • Assist with creating, updating, and auditing product records, collections, categories, attributes, descriptions, imagery, sizing, materials, care instructions, and shipping information.
  • Maintain system organization, including product files, menus, collections, navigation structures, and digital assets.
  • Coordinate system access, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation support for retail technology.
  • Document system issues and work with internal partners and vendors to support resolution.
  • Maintain established accessibility, product-data, and system-documentation standards.

Inventory Control & Reconciliation
  • Monitor inventory data across warehouse, store, stadium, e-commerce, mobile, and event locations.
  • Coordinate cycle counts, RFID scans, and physical inventory processes with the employees responsible for each location.
  • Research inventory discrepancies and coordinate adjustments following appropriate review and approval.
  • Reconcile transfers, receipts, returns, damages, and other inventory movements between systems and physical locations.
  • Maintain accurate product-location records and inventory-control documentation.
  • Identify recurring inventory issues and recommend process or system improvements.
  • Support loss-prevention efforts through accurate merchandise handling, data, documentation, and reconciliation.

E-Commerce & Customer Support
  • Maintain the product and operational information required to support the online store.
  • Set up new online products and collections based on direction from retail leadership.
  • Monitor order data and research system, inventory, fulfillment, pickup, return, and shipping discrepancies.
  • Escalate website, promotional, merchandising, and broader customer-experience decisions to retail leadership.

Match-Day & Event Support
  • Provide hands-on warehouse and retail logistics support for match days, product launches, pop-ups, community appearances, and other retail events.
  • Prepare merchandise and supplies and coordinate product movement, setup, stocking, and replenishment.
  • Support post-event product consolidation, inventory returns, reconciliation, and warehouse organization.
  • Operate authorized company vehicles, including Teal Mobile and box trucks, to support merchandise movement, transfers, and retail activations.
  • Provide additional hands-on support to retail teams during periods of high volume.

Reporting & Process Improvement
  • Produce recurring reports related to inventory accuracy, fulfillment activity, shipping costs, customer service trends, and system data quality.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, checklists, reference materials, and training documentation for retail systems, warehouse, fulfillment, and inventory processes.
  • Monitor workflows for recurring errors, duplication, or inefficiencies.
  • Recommend practical process improvements that strengthen accuracy, consistency, and accountability.
  • Establish and maintain data-entry standards across retail systems.
  • Develop and maintain part-time retail staff schedules for daily store operations, match days, events, and other retail needs based on established staffing plans and coverage requirements.
  • Support training for employees who use retail systems and inventory processes.
  • Communicate product setup status, inventory discrepancies, system updates, and process changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform other retail systems, inventory-control, warehouse, fulfillment, and event-support duties as assigned.
