Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Manager, Integrated Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive ticket revenue, fan engagement, and audience growth. This role will translate broader marketing and business priorities into actionable campaign plans across owned, paid, digital, social, and traditional marketing channels.
The Manager will lead assigned campaigns from strategy through execution, including development of campaign briefs, creative requests, audience and messaging recommendations, cross-functional coordination, and post-campaign recaps. This role will also own the email marketing strategy and calendar, partnering with internal teams and MLB to develop, execute, test, and optimize communications throughout the fan journey.
The ideal candidate is a strong integrated marketer and project leader who can manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively across teams, and translate business objectives and performance insights into compelling consumer-facing marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns supporting ticket sales, promotions, fan engagement, audience growth, and other organizational priorities.
- Translate broader marketing strategies and business objectives into actionable campaign plans, identifying target audiences, messaging, channel opportunities, creative needs, and key performance indicators.
- Develop strategic campaign briefs and creative requests in partnership with the Director of Marketing, leading development for assigned campaigns and collaborating on high-priority organizational initiatives.
- Serve as the marketing lead for assigned campaigns, partnering cross-functionally with Creative Services, Content & Broadcasting, Social Media, Promotions & Events, Ticketing, Business Strategy & Analytics, Communications, and other departments to ensure coordinated execution.
- Own the email marketing strategy and calendar across ticketing, promotions, fan engagement, and other marketing initiatives, ensuring communications are aligned with organizational priorities and audience needs.
- Develop email content strategies, messaging, creative direction, and testing opportunities to improve engagement, conversion, and overall channel effectiveness.
- Partner with MLB, the Marketing Coordinator, and internal stakeholders to coordinate email creative development, production, approvals, quality assurance, and deployment.
- Partner with Business Strategy & Analytics to identify opportunities for audience segmentation, personalization, lifecycle marketing, and testing across email and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Partner with the Manager of Paid Media Strategy & Analytics to align paid media, audience targeting, channel recommendations, creative testing, and optimization with broader campaign objectives.
- Provide strategic direction throughout campaign development, identifying risks, resolving roadblocks, and making recommendations to ensure campaigns remain aligned with business objectives, timelines, and brand standards.
- Establish campaign scope, key milestones, deliverables, and owners, while partnering with the Marketing Coordinator to manage detailed project timelines, trackers, creative workflows, and status updates.
- Lead campaign kickoffs and cross-functional communications for assigned marketing initiatives, ensuring stakeholders understand objectives, responsibilities, deadlines, and dependencies.
- Monitor campaign and email performance and identify opportunities to optimize audiences, messaging, creative, offers, cadence, and channel strategy.
- Lead post-campaign recaps in partnership with the Director of Marketing, Manager of Paid Media Strategy & Analytics, Business Strategy & Analytics, and other channel owners, translating results into actionable recommendations for future marketing efforts.
- Stay informed on target audiences, consumer behavior, emerging marketing technologies, competitive activity, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure marketing campaigns and communications reflect Washington Nationals brand standards and deliver a consistent fan experience across channels.

Compensation:
The projected annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per year. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.

- • Familiarity with trafficking processes for paid media and broadcast.
- • Ability to interpret marketing data and translate into actionable insights.
- • Strong written communication skills, especially for email copy and creative briefs.

- • Solid experience in sports/entertainment or a fast-paced Direct to Consumer brand; ad agency experience is also relevant.
- 3 - 5 years: • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant marketing experience, inclusive of leading marketing campaigns, developing segmentation strategies, and managing digital, social, and owned media.
Preferred
- • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- • Experience with video production a plus.
- • Experience with social media marketing a plus.
