Position Overview 
The Cleveland Browns are seeking a motivated Junior Full-Stack Developer to join our Football Information Systems team. This role offers the opportunity to build and support internal applications that power football operations across scouting, coaching, player personnel, football administration, performance, medical, and research functions. You will work alongside experienced developers, learn modern technologies, and contribute to tools used throughout key NFL periods such as Free Agency, the NFL Draft, Training Camp, and the regular season. 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using modern Microsoft technologies 
  • Assist in the continued development of centralized player evaluation and football management systems 
  • Collaborate with football stakeholders to translate operational needs into practical software solutions 
  • Build reports, tools, and data workflows supporting college and pro player evaluation, the NFL Draft, Free Agency, and ad hoc requests 
  • Troubleshoot, test, and improve existing applications with a focus on reliability, usability, and maintainability 
  • Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing 
  • Learn and apply best practices in software development, deployment, DevOps, and system support 
  • Contribute ideas that improve products, workflows, and the overall user experience 

Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience 
  • Experience or coursework in web and software development 
  • Comfortable with a full-stack environment and familiar with an object-oriented programming language such as C#, Java, C++, etc. 
  • Understanding of relational database concepts, SQL, and how data supports application development 
  • Familiarity with source control and development tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Git, or SVN 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Interest in football and the NFL is preferred, but formal football experience is not required 

Bonus Qualifications
 
  • Experience with .NET, ASP.NET, Blazor, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, REST APIs, or Telerik UI 
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps, CI/CD practices, automated testing, or cloud-based application deployment 
  • Experience with AI development, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI APIs, prompt engineering, intelligent automation, or AI-assisted development tools is a plus 
  • Experience building applications, dashboards, reports, or data tools for business or domain-specific users
