Job Title: Supervisor, Ticket and Sales Operations (Seasonal)

Position Overview:
The Supervisor, Ticket and Sales Operations supports all aspects of ticketing for Spring Training and non-baseball related activities, including ticket sales, customer service, and game-day operations. This role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience in sports business, sales, marketing and event operations within a fast-paced, fan-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Ticket Operations
- Oversight of all system setup using ticketing system (Tickets.com/ProVenue)
- Coordinate processing of ticket packages, groups, and individual ticket orders
- Manage mobile ticket distribution of tickets to fans via MLB Ballpark App
- Oversight of box office setup and money reconciliation
- Support stadium entry operations (scanning, troubleshooting mobile tickets) and provide accurate data and reporting
- Coordinate parking sales integration and assist with gameday parking operations
Fan Services
- Oversight of fan services operations from phone, email, and box office interactions while providing world-class customer service for optimal fan experience
- Resolve ticketing issues, including reprints, exchanges, and account questions
- Build relationships with repeat customers, groups, and corporate clients
- Coordinate with ushers, security, and guest services to ensure smooth fan experience
Ticket Sales & Revenue Generation
- Sell single-game tickets, group packages, and premium seating options
- Assist in creation and execution of team sales goals
- Upsell add-ons such as hospitality areas, parking, and special experiences
- Oversee all promo code creation and reporting
Administrative and Event Support
- Schedule seasonal staff using ABI or ADP programs
- Serve as liaison to TDC and attend all MLB product forums
- Support special events, group outings, and promotional days
- Assist with preparation of sales reports and NBYG (Know Before you Go) emails
- Assist in the execution of sponsorship agreements and deliverables
- Assist in preparing post-event reports
- Be involved in community events/networking (i.e. Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, YPG, Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance)
Qualifications:
Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Canva, etc)
- Work in a team-oriented environment, strong desire to grow a career in sports
Preferred
- Previous experience in ticket sales, customer service, or sports industry
- Familiarity with ticketing software (Ticketmaster, ProVenue, SeatGeek, etc.)
- Background in sports management, business, marketing, or related field
