Position Overview
This full time Business Intelligence CRM Intern will support the ongoing development, administration, and optimization of our Salesforce platform. This role will work closely with the Manager of Business Intelligence by assisting with system administration, reporting, data management, user support, and process improvement initiatives. This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is interested in sports, CRM strategy, and data management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day administration of the Salesforce platform
- Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
- Assist with system setup and provide targeted recommendations on how to improve CRM platform in terms of page layouts, fields, campaigns, workflows, triggers, and validation rules based on sales and service processes
- Identify, define, maintain, and improve CRM workflows and system processes to increase efficiency
- Perform on-going CRM data analysis while maintaining the integrity of the data
- Work with internal teams to support the integration of data sources into CRM to determine appropriate use-cases and identify areas for improvement
- Additional special projects, as needed and assigned
Qualifications
Required
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of SQL querying in a relational database
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong data management abilities
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
- Recent completion of a degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field
Preferred
- Experience working with Salesforce, CRM systems, or related business applications
- Familiarity with Salesforce administration concepts, including custom objects, fields, reports, dashboards, and workflows
- Ability to design and create analytical dashboards within Salesforce or other visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field
Hourly Rate: $18.42 per hour, plus overtime
