Corporate Partnerships Activation Intern

Southwest University Park, home of the El Paso Chihuahuas is seeking a full-season Corporate Partnerships Activation Intern to join our Corporate Partnerships team for the 2027 season. This internship provides hands-on experience in sports sponsorships, corporate partnerships, and game day activations. In this role you will work directly with the Corporate Partnerships team to help prepare, set up, and execute sponsor activations throughout the season. Responsibilities will include taking proof-of-performance photos, helping with sponsor activation and suite setups, assisting with game day promotions, and making sure our corporate partners receive everything included in their partnership. The day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending on the game and event schedule, giving you the opportunity to learn different aspects of corporate partnerships while gaining experience working in professional sports.

·         Assist the Corporate Partnerships team with planning, preparing, and setting up sponsor activations throughout the season.

·         Take proof-of-performances (POP) photos of sponsor signage, in-game promotions, concourse activations, and other partnership deliverables during games and events.

·         Organize proof of performance photos and help keep track of completed partnership deliverables.

·         Assist with setting up and preparing corporate hospitality suites before each game.

·         Help set up sponsor activation tables, promotional areas, signage, and other partnership materials.

·         Help execute in game promotions, on field activations, concourse activities, mascot appearances, and other sponsored elements.

·         Help distribute sponsor tickets, promotional items, giveaways, and other partner materials as needed.

·         Communicate with other departments to help coordinate sponsor activations and game-day experiences.

·         Assist with additional office projects, research, presentations, and other partnership related tasks throughout the season.

 

·         Strong organizational skills, with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage with all types of personality styles.

·         Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative.

·         Comfortable with hands on responsibilities, including setting up activation areas, moving promotional materials, and preparing hospitality suites.

·         Basic photography skills and the ability to take clear pictures of sponsor activations and signage.

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

·         Willingness to be at all of our games which includes weekdays and weekends.

·         This internship will start in February 2027 and you will be expected to remain until the end of September 2027.

·         This position requires at least 20 hrs in office a week and availability for most/all events at the ballpark.
