The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Triple-A Affiliate of the Miami Marlins) are seeking a highly skilled Coordinator, Corporate Partnerships to join our team at VyStar Ballpark in downtown Jacksonville. The ideal candidate can work across several departments, solve problems in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, and think on their feet. This hands-on role works with the management team to support sales opportunities, build long-term relationships with the Northeast Florida business community, and deliver a unique ballpark experience for fans of all ages.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supporting the Corporate Partnerships team by coordinating logistics and communication across departments—including food & beverage, ticketing, and promotions—to ensure all contract obligations are fully executed.
• Creating proposals, contracts, and other documents to support the Corporate Partnerships department and staff.
• Analyzing client needs and building sponsorship presentations that align with partners’ business goals and drive revenue.
• Leading on-site activation of corporate partner contracts during Jumbo Shrimp games and special events at VyStar Ballpark.
• Identifying potential clients and building new corporate relationships, while maintaining and growing relationships with existing sponsors.
• Developing and implementing sponsorship packages that attract new clients and encourage current partners to renew and/or upgrade.
• Collaborating with the team to develop effective sales collateral that helps the department reach its goals.
• Setting appointments with key decision makers across the Jacksonville business community to form strong, long-term corporate partnerships.
• Proactively pursuing new business, including cold calling and networking.
• Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• At least one year of experience in sales, account management, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, execution, organization, and customer service skills, with the ability to identify and develop relationships with potential clients and vendors.
• Excellent leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
