Special Events Operations Team (Part-Time)

Job Summary:

The Event Operations team supports the operational aspects for all non-game day events at Busch Stadium on a year-round basis. Events include external client, corporate, and internal events. The purpose of the Event Operations team is to provide operational efficiency with event set ups and tear-downs, and to provide gold glove service to our clients. Note that this is a logistics role and is primarily focused on pre- and post-event set up and tear down. This position involves moving heavy furniture and completing event set up and break-down.

The Event Operations Team will support all organizational events with operational and logistical needs on a year-round basis. The Operations Team will support non-gameday special events, corporate events including setting group meeting spaces, non-game day event spaces, and other special events as requested. This position is not client facing and is limited to event logistics.

Job Duties:

\u00b7 Support logistical needs for events and meetings, primarily but not exclusively limited to event set up and tear down.

\u00b7 Provide operational support for all non-game day events, primarily but not exclusively limited to event set up and tear down.

\u00b7 Provide room flip and set based on scaled drawings of the space.

\u00b7 Professional appearance and communication at all times

\u00b7 Maintain a working knowledge of all ballpark policies and procedures as it relates to non-game day special events to ensure safety of all guests

\u00b7 All duties, functions and responsibilities as assigned by direct supervisor

Experience Required:

\u00b7 Available to work year-round

\u00b7 Ability to work well in a team environment

\u00b7 Ability to read and decipher an event layout

\u00b7 Ability to lift 50+ pounds

\u00b7 Excellent people and communication skills

\u00b7 Ability to prioritize work based on multiple projects and sets at one time

\u00b7 Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays (part time)

\u00b7 Ability to take direction but also to work independently and on deadline

\u00b7 Restaurant or banquet set up experience a plus, but not required

\u00b7 Labor experience a plus but not required
