Seasonal Intern, Strategy
The New York Jets are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern to support the Strategy & International function. This role blends domestic strategy and innovation work with international fan engagement across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, the intern will contribute to high-impact projects that shape how the Jets grow their business at home and their fan base abroad.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Strategy & International in creating and executing upon growth-oriented strategic projects
- Conduct research and provide analysis and recommendations to support new and ongoing strategic initiatives
- Support the Manager of International in planning and execution of international events, fan experiences, and promotional activities
- Planning and execution of a season kickoff event
- Influencer strategy & execution
- Prepare internal updates and reports on international initiatives
- Coordinate with partners including NFL UK & Ireland and SPORTFIVE
- Conduct market research and identify growth opportunities
- Analyze fan engagement, sponsorship, and market trends
- Support day-to-day operations in the UK & Ireland markets
- Monitor competitor activity and prepare intelligence reports
- Assist with management of NYJFC, Jets International Fan Club
- Develop and upload engaging content (e.g., photo galleries, polls, games)
- Support sweepstakes, contests, and exclusive ticketing campaigns
- Maintain the platform and ensure content is current and high-quality
- Track engagement metrics and suggest improvements
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, customer service, and tech teams
- Assist with ownership and League reporting as well as ad-hoc projects
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Advanced in PowerPoint; Intermediate to Advanced in Excel
- Familiarity with digital platforms and social media
- Creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Passion for sports and international fan engagement
- Experience living or working in the UK or Ireland is a plus
Job Location:
This position is based on-site in Madison, NJ. We are looking for someone who is available to work full-time, 40 hours per week through the end of September and a flexible schedule up to 30 hours per week starting October 2026. The specific schedule worked at that time will be dependent on the candidate’s needs in discussion with the hiring manager.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role: USD $28-$32 per hour, depending on the specific qualifications of the successful candidate. Company benefit programs for seasonal employees include: robust medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k plan participation (after 1000 hours + one year of service) with company-match; PTO, sick time.
