Position Summary
The Washington Nationals are seeking a Rehab Pitching Coordinator to help build a world-class pitching pipeline and lead the pitching component of our organizational return-to-performance process.
Working closely with the Director of Pitching, Pitching Coordinators, and Player Development leadership, this role will develop, execute, and continually improve a consistent approach to return-to-throw programming and pitcher development. The Rehab Pitching Coordinator will collaborate daily with Medical, Rehabilitation, Strength and Conditioning, Sports Science, and other Player Development staff to create individualized plans for each pitcher.
Medical will establish the diagnosis, restrictions, and clinical readiness. The Rehab Pitching Coordinator will own the throwing and pitching-development components of each plan while maintaining consistent communication with Major League and Minor League pitching staffs throughout the rehabilitation process and transition back to competition.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who combines strong pitching knowledge with sound decision-making, clear communication, and a commitment to continually improving how we return pitchers to healthy, sustainable performance above their pre-injury level.
This position will be based at our Spring Training complex in West Palm Beach, FL.

Compensation:
The projected annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
