The Manager, Safety & Security is responsible for the operational readiness, maintenance, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of physical security systems, security equipment, fleet assets, and key management programs supporting Enterprise Center and Stifel Theatre. The position serves as the department's technical lead for security technology while ensuring systems, equipment, and assets remain reliable, compliant, and event ready. The Manager also provides operational leadership during events, coordinates vendors and maintenance activities, supports emergency response, and partners with internal departments to deliver a safe, secure, and exceptional guest experience.

Essential Duties:
 Security Systems & Technology
• Serve as the department subject matter expert for access control, video management, and electronic security systems.
• Administer ACM, Avigilon VMS, cameras, card readers, intercoms, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, software updates, testing, and warranty work.
• Maintain system documentation, inventories, and service records.
• Recommend and support implementation of security technology improvements.
• Partner with IT, Engineering, and vendors to maintain system reliability and cybersecurity.

Asset & Equipment Management
• Manage preventative maintenance and lifecycle planning for screening equipment, fleet assets, keys, and departmental     equipment.
• Maintain inventory accountability and equipment readiness.
• Develop deployment, storage, inspection, and accountability procedures.
• Coordinate vendor repairs and replacement planning.
• Conduct operational readiness inspections and resolve deficiencies.

Event Operations
• Ensure security systems and equipment are fully operational before each event.
• Coordinate deployment and recovery of screening and security equipment.
• Respond to equipment failures and minimize operational disruptions.
• Serve as Safety & Security Event Manager when assigned.
• Support emergency response and post-event operational reviews.

Leadership & Business Operations
• Manage vendor relationships and monitor service performance.
• Assist with capital planning and equipment replacement strategies.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of progressively responsible experience in physical security, venue operations, public safety, facilities, or a related field.
• Experience with security technologies, vendor coordination, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in sports, entertainment, or large public assembly venues.
• Experience with Avigilon, ACM, CEIA OpenGate, or comparable systems.
• FEMA ICS/NIMS, CPR/AED/First Aid, or industry security certifications.

Working Conditions:
• Frequently walk, stand, climb stairs, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
