What you’ll be doing
The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in keeping Nissan Stadium safe, functional, and guest-ready year-round. Reporting to the facilities team, this position is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, repairs, and general maintenance of the stadium's interior and exterior spaces. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with a broad skill set across carpentry, painting, basic electrical and plumbing, and minor construction, and takes pride in maintaining a first-class venue that hosts NFL games, concerts, and major events.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in Nissan Stadium
- Daily rounds of Nissan Stadium to ensure stadium is in working order
- Coordinate with outsides vendors to obtain quotes, schedules, and follow up to make sure job is completed
- Install, repair, and replace fixtures, appliances, and equipment
- Handle basic flooring and carpentry tasks
- Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed
- Maintain building doors, including minor hardware updates and repairs
- Replace and/or repair ceiling tiles and suspended ceiling elements
- Minor construction projects (ie: simple cement projects, building storage shelving, etc.)
- Assist in basic electrical and plumbing tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Hang plaques, pictures, and other wall-hangings
- Seasonal outside maintenance, including keeping exterior building lighting clean and functional
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll bring
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of general maintenance, facilities, or building trades experience
- Working knowledge of basic carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and standard maintenance equipment
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts) and in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade school certification or apprenticeship in a relevant field (carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
- Prior experience in a stadium, arena, large venue, hospitality, or commercial facility setting
- Experience coordinating with and managing outside vendors or contractors
- Familiarity with work order management systems (e.g., a CMMS platform)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Forklift, scissor lift, or aerial lift certification
- Basic computer proficiency (email, work order entry, vendor communication)

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Work Environment: Stadium / Field
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods of time; lift up to 50 lbs
- Schedule: Monday – Friday including some nights, weekends, and holidays based on event calendar
