Position Summary
As the Head of Taiwan, this role will be responsible for leading and overseeing operations across offices in the region. In this high-level leadership role, you will drive strategic initiatives, set up and manage teams, and ensure business growth and profitability. Your primary focus will be on setting up team, developing and executing business strategies, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and delivering exceptional results.
Major Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
As the Head of Taiwan in NBA China, under strategy and guidance of NBA China & Asia, be responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing the overall operations of the company in Taiwan.
2. Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market leadership in line with the organization's goals and objectives.
3. Business Development and Expansion Lead business development efforts, identifying growth opportunities and establishing partnerships, alliances to expand the NBA's presence in Taiwan, following NBA China & Asia strategy and business development plans.
4. Actively engage with key stakeholders, clients, and industry leaders to build strong relationships and drive business growth.
5. Operational Excellence Ensure operational excellence, develop and implement efficient processes and procedures, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Education/Professional Experience
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
· An advanced degree or MBA would be highly advantageous.
· Proven track record of at least 15 years in leadership roles, with extensive experience in managing sports, media and related industrial operations in Taiwan
· Strong understanding of the cultural, economic, and regulatory landscape of Taiwan, including knowledge of Taiwan - specific business practices and nuances.
· Demonstrated success in driving business growth, expanding market presence, and achieving revenue targets.
