THE POSITION - BARTENDER

We are currently seeking Bartenders to join the excitement in support of the Grey Cup Festival

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Quickly and accurately prepares beverages;
• Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction through quick service and quality;
• Ensure proper storage, handling and use of beverage inventories;
• Ensure proper temperatures are maintained;
• Comply with all safe food handling policies;
• All alcoholic beverages are served in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

THE POSITION - SUPPORT STAFF

Our Support Staff team plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience from start to finish. Whether welcoming guests at the door, assisting with service, or maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, these roles are essential to the success of our restaurant. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Create a positive first impression by warmly welcoming and assisting all guests
• Support efficient seating and table flow to ensure a smooth dining experience
• Assist with managing waitlists and communicating accurate wait times to guests
• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready restaurant environment at all times
• Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly to maximize seating availability
• Assist with delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
• Support service staff by refilling water and coffee, and attending to guest needs as required
• Ensure service stations are fully stocked with napkins, glassware, cutlery, and other essentials
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stands, service areas, and dining spaces
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including set-up and tear-down
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service
• Handle guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner (in person or by phone)
• Support team members across roles as needed
• Actively participate in safety programs and follow polices;
  All other duties as required.

THE POSITION - CASHIER

The Cashier is responsible for serving customers at the assigned concessions stand in a quick, courteous, and efficient manner. The role will require accurate point of sale (POS) system use, cash handling and counting, filling orders, and compliance with all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Prepare concessions stand for opening by prepping necessary food items as well as setting up displays and equipment;
• Clean all equipment and counters prior to service;
• Organize and stock the condiment counters with appropriate product;
• Greet and serve customers;
• Take orders and process through the system;
• Receive payments and make change as required;
• Perform cleaning duties throughout the service as well as at the end of the shift;
• Abide by company standards regarding cash handling, sanitation, safety, and the serving of alcoholic beverages;
• Follow directions from the lead to ensure stand is running efficiently and that proper procedures are being followed;
• Actively participate in safety programs and follow polices;
• All other duties as assigned.

THE INDIVIDUAL
The ideal candidate will have the following background:

• Previous food and beverage experience is an asset
• POS experience is an asset
• Bartending experience and POS knowledge is required for the Bartender position;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to support multiple areas of the operation

CERTIFICATIONS
• Must possess ProServe Certification;
• High school diploma is considered an asset.

 

This is a seasonal role for the Grey Cup and will end at the end of November 15

This position will remain open until suitable candidates are found.
