Position Overview:
Chicago Fire Football Club seeks a Coordinator, League Operations, to join our team. Reporting to the Director of League Operations, this individual will play a key role in delivering a best-in-class experience for players, coaches and club partners while ensuring the successful execution of league operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized and customer focused. By providing exceptional service, supporting day-to-day league administration, and building strong relationships with participants and stakeholders, this role will help drive the continued growth, quality, and operational excellence of Chicagoland Indoor Soccer League. 

Job Responsibilities:  
  • Support league operations, including scheduling, registration, communication, and game-day management on site during the weekends (December-March). 
  • Organize registration and administrative requirements to ensure a seamless participant experience for league of over 1000 teams and 14,000 participants.
  • Collaborate with director of league operations to ensure league and tournaments are appropriately staffed and operationally supported.  
  • Ensure all programs operate within club risk management standards while maintaining strong relationships with clubs, league partners, and external organizations.
  • Manage new and existing partnerships with key youth and community soccer stakeholders. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: 
  • 2+ years of relevant youth soccer work experience. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Superior organizational skills.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams. 
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including weekends from late November through mid-March.

Preferred Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in sports, recreation or similar field of study. 
  • Knowledge of the U.S. youth soccer landscape, particularly in Chicagoland.
  • Knowledge of youth sports registration software (LeagueApps). 

Compensation: 
  • This role offers an hourly range rate of $20.00- $22.00.
  • This role is classified as Part-time, non-exempt.
  • Final salary is determined by carefully considering the applicant's background, experience, and qualifications. Base pay may vary significantly based on geographic location, job-specific knowledge, skills, and overall experience.
