Role Summary

The Vulcans Lead oversees operations on Vulcan machines responsible for applying chrome foil and thin film to the front and back of cards. This role ensures optimal heat, pressure, and alignment during the foil bonding process and manages daily production output and quality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Vulcan operators and ensure consistent foil and film application.
  • Calibrate and monitor machine parameters for temperature, pressure, and dwell time.
  • Inspect product output for adhesion, finish, and defect-free surfaces.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance to perform preventive servicing and minimiz downtime.
  • Train new operators and enforce all safety protocols.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2–4 years of foil or thermal transfer experience.
  • Knowledge of heat bonding processes and material compatibility.
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.

 

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Standing for extended periods and handling materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Work involves heat-producing machinery and requires adherence to PPE protocols.
