We are seeking a motivated Systems Administrator to join our Enterprise Technology team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, AWS, Windows Server, and core infrastructure services while developing hands-on experience across network and systems operations.
This role reports directly to the Manager, Network & Systems Operations and operates within established infrastructure standards. The position is designed for a developing administrator who can work independently on routine tasks while escalating complex technical, security, and infrastructure issues to senior team members.
Your Role on the Team
Infrastructure Administration
- Manage and support Microsoft 365 administration, including user accounts, licenses, groups, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and related services
- Help with managing Entra ID administration, including user lifecycle management, group membership, MFA, conditional access support, and identity troubleshooting
- Support Windows Server environments, Active Directory services, file shares, permissions, and basic server maintenance
- Experience working with and troubleshooting virtual machines/Servers
- Assist with AWS administration tasks such as monitoring resources, supporting access requests, reviewing basic configuration items, and escalating issues as needed
- Assist with infrastructure monitoring, documentation, inventory updates, and routine operational checks
Execution & Implementation
- Execute routine infrastructure changes in accordance with established change management standards
- Assist with building, configuring, and maintaining development, test, and production server environments
- Support system patching, software updates, and scheduled maintenance activities under guidance from senior team members
- Assist with backup validation, restore testing, and disaster recovery readiness activities
- Support vulnerability remediation, endpoint/server hardening, and security hygiene tasks
- Contribute to infrastructure lifecycle, asset tracking, and hardware refresh activities
Operational Support
- Provide advanced support for escalated Microsoft 365, identity, server, and connectivity issues
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during game days and major events as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation, configuration notes, runbooks, and asset inventory records
- Support multi-site connectivity coordination across facilities including HQ, Arena, Practice Facilities, and colocation environments
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within Network & Systems Operations
- Strengthen cross-functional alignment with Helpdesk, Security, Arena Technology, and business teams
Your Skills and Experience
Technical Experience
- 1–3 years of systems, helpdesk, cloud, or infrastructure support experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, licensing, and user support
- Familiarity with Entra ID, Active Directory, user lifecycle management, MFA, groups, and access troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of Windows Server administration, server roles, file permissions, and common infrastructure services such as DNS and DHCP
- Familiarity with AWS services, cloud administration concepts, identity/access management, and basic resource monitoring
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, wireless connectivity, and troubleshooting methodology
- Exposure to virtualization, backup, endpoint management, monitoring, or security tools preferred
Professional Capabilities
- Foundational troubleshooting skills with a willingness to learn, ask questions, and follow issues through resolution
- Ability to work within defined operational standards, change management processes, and escalation paths
- Strong documentation discipline and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of professionalism, accountability, and discretion
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner or other related certs are a plus
