Position Overview:

With over 60 years of rich history and tradition, the Raiderettes symbolize family, sisterhood, community, and entertainment excellence.

The Raiderettes are the premier entertainment and dance team for the Las Vegas Raiders. This diverse group of talented women enhance the gameday experience on the field, engage with fans off the field at events throughout the year, and inspire the next generation of Raiderettes through educational and innovative programs.

Raiderettes The Studio is the headquarters for the Raiderettes, and all dance programming is designed to engage the Southern Nevada community. The state-of-the-art facility, with 11,000 square feet, has staff offices, a locker room, and studio rooms where classes tailored to all ages will be offered to the public.


Essential Functions:

  • Operates as lead Instructor
    • Lead engaging, high-energy dance classes that reflect strong technique, musicality, and performance quality.
    • Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and corrections to support dancers of varying skill levels.
    • Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating class environment that builds confidence and teamwork.
    • Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and preparedness for all classes.
    • Teach, at minimum, five (5) classes per week that cover a variety of kids, teens, and adult classes.
    • Choreograph and film Jr. Raiderette material as needed throughout the season.
    • Assist on Jr. Raiderette appearances as needed.
    • Assist with studio-hosted events.
    • Create and execute themes/activities for studio-observed holidays and spirit weeks.
  • Lead coaching staff
    • Assist with training, on-boarding, and educating new coaches for success using Raiderette methods and standards.
    • Ensure teachers meet minimum standards for their current role.
    • Lead all class reviews and provide instructor feedback at least quarterly.
  • Operations
    • Maintain strong working relationship with the Studio Manager and Studio Coordinator.
    • Assist with studio announcements.
  • Marketing/Events
    • Participate in monthly marketing conference calls to keep informed about upcoming events and promotions.
  • Equipment & Facilities Maintenance/Repair
    • Perform weekly check of equipment and facilities.
    • Notify manager of equipment repairs, if under service agreements.
    • Help ensure cleanliness and orderliness of studio facility.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of four (4) years of dance instruction experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to choreograph routines of various levels and styles of dance with a focus on jazz, pom, hip-hop, collegiate, and pro-level required.
  • Collegiate dance experience required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with customers, participants, guests, and colleagues.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate professionalism in the studio and while representing the Raiders organization and Raiderettes brand.
  • Adaptability to class content and requests made by the Studio Manager and Director.
  • Ability to commit to 30 hours per week.
  • Strong ability to teach all age groups.
  • Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.


Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):

  • Athletic activities
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
  • Walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, jumping, twisting, turning, stretching, and dancing
  • Sitting for periods of time throughout shift
