Join the team behind one of the world’s most iconic venues and help bring unforgettable events to life at Yankee Stadium. The Senior Events Manager, Stadium Operations will play an important part in planning and executing a diverse portfolio of high-profile non-baseball events - from corporate events and trade shows to major sporting events and smaller-scale events. Acting as a key point of coordination across departments, clients, and vendors, this role will ensure seamless event delivery, exceptional guest experiences, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of a wide range of non-baseball events at Yankee Stadium, including concerts, sporting events, corporate functions, commencements, trade shows, and the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl.
  • Execute event and venue agreements and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to plan and deliver events, communicating updates and operational changes as needed to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee event logistics and staffing requirements, partnering with operations, security, ticketing, custodial, maintenance, telecommunications, and audio-visual teams.
  • Conduct site visits, client walkthroughs, and pre-event planning meetings to determine event requirements and develop cost estimates when needed.
  • Prepare and maintain event documentation, including event briefs, run-of-show timelines, vendor manifests, post-event reports, and operational evaluations.
  • Serve as Stadium Operations Manager on Duty for assigned events, providing on-site leadership and issue resolution.
  • Develop, track, and reconcile event budgets and expenses, providing monthly reporting for non-baseball and special events.
  • Assist with event floor plans and ensure compliance with applicable building, fire, and safety regulations.
  • Enforce stadium policies and procedures while proactively identifying and resolving operational challenges.
  • Support the development and implementation of new event opportunities and stadium programming initiatives.
  • Manage employee timekeeping through the ABI system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of six years of event management experience, including large-scale sporting events, conventions, trade shows, or similar live events, preferably within a major league stadium, arena, or comparable venue.
  • Proven experience leading teams and coordinating cross-functional event operations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365; experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to operational excellence.
  • Ability to move throughout a large stadium for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and outdoor events as business needs require.

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000 per year plus a comprehensive benefits package.
