Sales Executive, Group Sales

THE POSITION 

We offer and execute the best group promotions and experiences in the sport and entertainment industry to enhance the reputation of our team brands, develop and engage new fans, and re-energize current fans, and grow revenue. Creating new and innovative ideas to tailor the experience for our clients and provide an exceptional fan experience is the hallmark of the Group Sales team. We are seeking an intrinsically motivated and ambitious sales professional to join us.

Reporting to the Manager, Group Sales, you will be responsible for group sales, engaging with a variety of community-based and corporate partners selling for all five of our brands.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

• Identifying and prospecting new clients.
• Making sales calls and qualifying clients leading to potential sales opportunities.
• Scheduling meetings as needed and conducting presentations of group ticket products.
• Providing superior and professional customer service.
• Performing game-day duties to facilitate large group events as well as hosting and entertaining clients.
• Attending assigned community events promoting tailored ticket offers.
• Meeting and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly targets as assigned.
• Meeting and exceeding annual sales goals.
• Performing related duties as assigned.
• All other duties as assigned.

THE INDIVIDUAL 

The ideal individual will have the following background:

• One to three years’ experience in a fast-paced sales environment;
• Must be customer-focused and driven with the ability to build and maintain client relationships;
• Self-discipline, with strong organizational and time management skills;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment;
• Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team;
• Strong presentation skills;
• Strong sales processes, from first engagement to close of sale;
• Ability to learn quickly and receptive to new ideas and processes;
• Facility with computerized systems, including commitment to maintaining computerized records of all touchpoints with clients and prospects with our CRM system;
• Proficiency with computer software programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel;
• Flexible to meet changing work needs and demands.
