Job Summary:
The REPLAY OPERATOR is responsible for operating all slo-mo replays for in-house feed for all Atlanta Hawks home games. Using Evertz Dreamcatcher, operators will capture, record and playback replays, and build highlight packages to tell the story of the game.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibility 1
STRONG UNDERSTANIDNG OF EVERTZ DREAMCATCHER
BASIC PLAYBACK OPERATION OF HAWKS BASKETBALL
Responsibility 2
CLIPPING, NAMING AND PACKAGING OF HIGHLIGHTS
ROUTING AND NAMING VIDEO INPUTS
Responsibility 3
STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF NBA BASKETBALL
STRONG UNDERATANDING ON NBA RULES
ABILITY TO IDENTIFY A HIGHLIGHT, FOUL, OUT OF BOUNDS PLAY, GOALTENDING ETC.
Responsibility 4
EXPORTING OF CLIPS AND HIGHLIGHTS TO PROPER DESTINATIONS
IMPORTING OF CONTENT FOR PLAYBACK
BASIC ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS OF CONTENT
*And any other job duties assigned
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree
2 yrs of control room experience
2 yrs experience with Evertz Dreamcatcher or similar replay system
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant experience in live sports production
Knowledge in EVS operation or related replay software a plus
