Nature of Work:
The main function of the Team Attendant is to assist the Equipment Manager with various tasks.
related to the day’s game. Team Attendants focus on the overall transportation, setup and breakdown of equipment.
Examples of work performed:
- Ability to attend all home and away games (travel required)
- Regularly load and unload truck/plane
- Organization and maintenance of warmups during game
- Assist with laundry duties: washing/folding and putting away towels/uniforms
- Assist with cleanliness and organization of locker room
- Rebounding pre-game/halftime
- Mopping up sweat during games
- Dispensing of water and towels
- Assist with bench setup/teardown
- May be asked to help straighten equipment room
- Assist with player/coaches’ needs as directed by supervisor
- Stock refrigerators
- Assist visiting teams with moving and unloading equipment

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
- This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
- This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
- This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
- This person must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum
- Must have basketball knowledge.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to travel to all away games.
- Required to be at arena 3 ½ hours prior to home game time.
- Ability to obtain an airport badge
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards
- Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
- Preferred
- Prefer someone with some experience working in high school, college, or professional athletics.
Compensation:
- Base hourly rate is $19.29 per hour
