Indy Fuel – Game Day Merchandise Intern
Position Overview
The Indy Fuel are seeking a dependable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Game Day Merchandise Intern to assist with merchandise operations and fan engagement during home games at Fishers Event Center. This position provides hands-on experience in professional sports, retail operations, customer service, and live event execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with game day operations in the Indy Fuel Team Store, including customer service, merchandise sales, restocking, and organization.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of the Chuck-A-Puck activation.
- Help manage merchandise inventory and prepare products for upcoming games and promotions.
- Assist with concourse merchandise sales, special events, and promotional nights.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to fans and guests.
- Assist with pregame setup and postgame breakdown of merchandise areas and equipment.
Support the Game Presentation and Fan Engagement staff with additional game day responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable interacting with fans and guests.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the Indy Fuel home schedule.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Position Details
- Location: Fishers Event Center – Fishers, Indiana
- Schedule: Primarily Indy Fuel home games, including evenings and weekends.
- Academic Credit: Must be eligible for college credit
