Role Summary
The Thin Film Lead manages the application of thin protective or decorative films on cardbacks. This position ensures consistent surface coverage, adhesion, and visual quality while meeting production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Thin Film operators in daily setup and production.
• Adjust machine tension, alignment, and temperature settings.
• Perform quality checks on film uniformity and adhesion.
• Communicate equipment needs and issues to Maintenance.
• Enforce safety, housekeeping, and workflow standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
• 2–4 years experience with film or coating application.
• Familiarity with plastic substrates and roll-fed machinery.
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
• Standing and manual handling of film rolls.
• Typical factory noise and heat exposure.
