The IT Systems Administrator role will focus on maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 administration, Okta user access management, and end-user technical support. The ideal candidate will also provide assistance with basic networking and hardware support, working with third-party IT vendors as needed, while contributing to the security and efficiency of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Technical Support:
o Provide day-to-day support for hardware (PCs, Macs, printers), software, and cloud-based services.
o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for end-users efficiently and professionally.
o Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and OneDrive.
• System Administration:
o Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, including user accounts, mailboxes, licenses, and application settings.
o Manage user identities and access via Okta Single Sign-On (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
o Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches for workstations and servers.
o Support backup processes and assist with disaster recovery procedures.
o Oversee the procurement, issuance, and collection of company devices, such as laptops, and peripherals.
o Maintain an inventory of IT assets, ensuring proper tracking and compliance.
• Cloud & Application Support:
o Provide support for cloud-based systems and services, with a focus on Microsoft 365.
o Assist with the evaluation, deployment, and documentation of new applications and services.
• Security and Compliance:
o Support and enforce IT security best practices, including endpoint protection and access controls.
o Assist in ensuring compliance with organizational security policies.
• Basic Networking Support:
o Provide first-level support for Meraki and Cisco network devices, including basic troubleshooting of LAN/WAN and VPN issues.
o Escalate advanced networking issues to the Network Administrator as needed.
• Collaboration & Projects:
o Work closely with the Network Administrator and other departments to support IT-related initiatives.
o Document system configurations, processes, and updates.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Education:
o Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
o CompTIAA+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications (MS-900, MD-100) are a plus.
• Experience:
o 3-5+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
o Strong experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, including Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
o Experience with Okta or other identity management systems.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
o Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
o Basic knowledge of Meraki and Cisco networking equipment is preferred.
o Understanding of cloud services and endpoint management.
• Soft Skills:
o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
o Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

o Availability to support IT operations
