Event Production Manager: $70,000 - $85,000 per year
Position Summary: The Manager, Event Production plays a central role in planning and technical execution of the live in-game experience at all Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Major League Volleyball home games, as well as Grand Casino Arena special events. As a key member of the Game Presentation team, this position leads critical aspects of live event production and control room execution, with an emphasis on camera directing, content-loading and overall event presentation.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Support the Director, Game Presentation in executing the creative vision and overall run of show for all home games and arena events.
- Direct cameras during live gameplay and stoppages, ensuring compelling storytelling, brand integrity and adherence to hockey and volleyball presentation standards.
- Collaborate with the Motion Graphics team to develop and implement engaging visual content that elevates the fan experience and strengthens brand presence.
- Key software includes Ross Xpression and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Prepare game-night graphics and video elements for seamless execution within the control room environment.
- Assist with pregame rehearsals, production meetings and postgame reviews to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvements.
- Contribute creative ideas and production solutions that support marketing campaigns, sponsorship activations, fan engagement initiatives, and partnership obligations.
- Basic understanding of Ross DataLinq.
- Lead content management and event production planning efforts.
- Oversee the loading, organization, and quality control of all in-game content, including videos, graphics, sponsor assets, and LED/ribbon board elements.
- Assist in managing production materials including scripts, rundowns and timing documents.
- Coordinate and schedule all sponsorship elements for games and special events.
- Serve as the primary production liaison between the control room, arena operations, and corporate staff.
- Assist with staffing coordination, scheduling, and oversight of gameday production crew members.
- Provide production support for non-game-day events and other special projects as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Three to five years of experience in live sports production, game presentation or control room operations.
- Demonstrated experience directing cameras and executing live shows in a control room environment.
- Strong understanding of sports presentation, timing, and in-game flow.
- Knowledge of Ross Video and Daktronics production systems including Ross Xpression and Dashboard.

Work Conditions:

- Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
