Job description
Join our Fan Development team as we create unforgettable fan experiences! We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering top-tier events all while working hands-on from set-up to breakdown during team and partner events.
Greet and assist attendees with a welcoming and positive attitude
Assist with event operations, including registration support, crowd control, and responding to guest questions
Address and communicate with appropriate team members any concerns from attendees
Distribute promotional items and assist with fan engagement activities
Monitor cleanliness and maintain the organization of event spaces
Assist with transporting and setting up equipment, including engagement stages and sound systems
Ensure all event spaces are prepared with signage, displays, and AV equipment
Breakdown and pack up event materials ensuring everything is safely stored post-event
Perform other duties as assigned
Prior experience in events, hospitality, or customer service is a plus, but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organization and time-management skills with strong attention to detail
Capable of working both independently and in a team environment
Beginner-level experience or exposure to AV equipment setup
Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time
This is a part-time, hourly position reporting to the Event Presentation Lead. The work schedule requires flexibility, including availability for events and game nights during evenings, weekends, and holidays. The primary work location is the Thunder corporate office at Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City, with some events requiring travel throughout the metro area. A valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation are required, as this role includes local travel. Physical requirements include lifting and bending. The work environment may include loud music, crowd noise, and outdoor work in both hot and cold weather conditions.
