JOB SUMMARY: The Event Services Office Supervisor supports the day-to-day operational readiness of the Event Services Department by overseeing stadium office needs, supplies, deliveries, signage, work orders, inventory, and related administrative and logistical functions. This role serves as a central point of coordination for the timely completion of operational requests and ensures that stadium offices, workspaces, and designated operational areas are properly supplied, organized, maintained, and prepared for events. The Event Services Office Supervisor will support the preparation and execution of events at Arrowhead Stadium by proactively managing logistical needs before, during, and after events and ensuring that assigned areas are ready to support staff, partners, and event operations.
 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operational needs of the stadium office, storage, and wardrobe room; ensuring areas are organized, properly supplied, and ready to support business and event operations.
  • Manage the ordering, receiving, organization, distribution, and inventory of office, operational, and event-related supplies, maintaining appropriate stock levels and proactively identifying replenishment needs.
  • Coordinate incoming deliveries, shipments, and materials, including receiving, documenting, organizing, and distributing items to the appropriate departments or locations throughout the stadium.
    • Establish and maintain consistent processes for receiving, storing, labeling, distributing, and tracking materials throughout assigned stadium spaces.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for stadium office work orders and operational requests, coordinating with Stadium Operations and other internal partners to ensure requests are appropriately communicated, tracked, and completed.
  • Coordinate the production, placement, removal, storage, and maintenance of operational signage, including temporary event signage and department-specific materials.
  • Provide direction and day-to-day oversight to assigned staff supporting office, supply, delivery, or event preparation functions.
  • Assist with identifying opportunities to improve processes, organization, communication, and efficiency within stadium office and operational support functions.
  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Chiefs management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-4 years of increasingly responsible experience in stadium, arena, event operations, facilities, office administration, logistics, or a related operational environment. Experience in a stadium, arena, convention center, or large-scale venue is preferred.
  • Flexibility in work schedule. Ability to work days or nights, weekends, holidays, event days, and extended hours as operational needs require.  Attendance required for ALL stadium events, including concerts, activations, experiences, staff training, and all sporting events.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, requests, and projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize work, follow through on assignments, and proactively identify operational needs with limited supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn and effectively utilize internal operational systems and software.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new programs, systems, processes, and technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, contractors, and internal departments.
  • Demonstrated leadership and personnel management skills, with the ability to provide direction, coach, and hold staff accountable to established expectations and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, supplies, deliveries, work orders, or other logistical processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships across multiple departments and coordinate projects involving a variety of internal and external partners.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to remain on your feet and move throughout various areas of Arrowhead Stadium for extended periods of time, including event setup, event days, and post-event breakdown.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and/or transport materials and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely navigate stairs, ramps, uneven surfaces, loading areas, back-of-house spaces, and other operational areas of the stadium.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including outdoor areas and during periods of inclement or extreme weather.
  • Ability to remain mobile and respond to operational needs throughout the stadium for extended periods of time.
