Manager, Media Sales

Position Summary

The Baltimore Ravens are seeking a strategic, results-oriented, and highly motivated Manager, Media Sales to join the Corporate Sales department. This role is responsible for leading the packaging, positioning, and sale of the club’s owned and operated media assets across television, radio, digital audio, podcast, online, app-based, and out-of-home (OOH) platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a strong sales background, established industry relationships, and the ability to drive meaningful revenue growth through integrated media partnerships.

The Manager, Media Sales will play a lead role in monetizing a broad portfolio of premium Ravens media inventory, including gameday radio programming title sponsorships, spots, billboards, features, and live reads, as well as preseason television assets. In addition, this role will serve as the sales lead for newly introduced club-owned and operated OOH assets, helping to establish market strategy, inventory packaging, and partner demand.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation

  • Lead revenue strategy and direct sales efforts for the Ravens’ media portfolio across television, radio, digital audio, podcast, online, app, and OOH platforms.
  • Identify, prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities with local, regional, and national brands.
  • Develop and execute integrated sales strategies that align Ravens media assets with partner marketing objectives and business priorities.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective accounts, while expanding existing relationships to generate incremental revenue.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to broader Corporate Sales revenue objectives.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including outreach, needs discovery, proposal development, negotiation, closing, and renewal planning.

Media Asset Monetization

  • Lead the sale of all Ravens radio and television inventory, including gameday radio programming title sponsorships, commercial spots, billboards, features, sponsored segments, and live reads.
  • Develop and secure title, presenting, and integrated sponsorship opportunities for available Ravens media programming.
  • Create compelling, customized media packages that combine traditional broadcast assets with digital, audio, and OOH inventory.
  • Drive the commercialization of new club-owned and operated OOH units, including pricing strategy, packaging, market positioning, and bundled sales opportunities.
  • Identify high-value category opportunities and develop year-round programs that maximize recurring partner investment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders across content, production, marketing, and activation to ensure all sold elements are strategically aligned and effectively executed.
  • Work collaboratively with Corporate Sales leadership to support overall departmental priorities, planning, and revenue initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of sales materials, partner presentations, inventory narratives, and go-to-market strategies for new and existing media assets.
  • Ensure a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and service throughout the sales process and partner lifecycle.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of successful experience in media sales, sponsorship sales, broadcast sales, digital media sales, OOH sales, or related revenue-generating roles.
  • Proven success in developing, negotiating, and closing high-value partnerships and integrated marketing programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell across multiple media channels, including radio, television, digital audio, podcast, and OOH.
  • Strong history of meeting or exceeding sales goals, building new business pipelines, and growing account revenue.

Industry Relationships & Market Connectivity

  • Established relationships with advertising agencies, media buying groups, agency planners and buyers, brand-side marketing leaders, and other key stakeholders involved in media and sponsorship purchasing decisions.
  • Ability to leverage an existing network of agency and brand contacts to generate immediate sales activity and accelerate revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the advertising marketplace and the decision-making process associated with media planning and buying.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate media assets into strategic business opportunities for partners.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop polished, persuasive, and consultative sales presentations for senior-level clients and agency contacts.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments in support of revenue and partner objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in professional sports, broadcast media, audio, podcasting, digital publishing, OOH, or an agency environment.
  • Knowledge of the Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and broader Mid-Atlantic advertising marketplace.
  • Experience launching new media properties, monetizing emerging inventory, or creating go-to-market strategies for new content platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $75,000 - $100,000 with bonuses
  • Paid time off to include 20 vacation days and 5 personal/sick days
