Examples of work performed:
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting activities for all assigned entities, including the closing of the Company’s books each month and developing the company’s financial reporting and accounting policies, controls, and procedures.
  • Lead annual budget process and assist with periodic reforecasting, including coordination with department heads, senior management and related entities. 
  • Manage all consolidated reporting and intercompany activity.
  • Effectively communicate findings and corrective actions with staff and management.
  • Assist with annual tax data gathering for outside tax preparers.
  • Manage intercompany and external billing process and coordinate with all related entities.
  • Coordinate with Shared Services team members to ensure accurate financial information and processes.
  • Supervise, train and develop team.
  • Additional ad hoc projects, as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum
    • 8-12 years’ experience in corporate accounting with 3+ years managing direct reports.
  • Preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA, working towards CPA certification and/or MBA preferred.
 
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Experience with Great Plains preferred.
  • Excels in a time-sensitive, deadline driven environment with the ability to prioritize and keep a positive attitude.
  • High detail orientation and problem-solving skills required.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate successfully with people at many levels within the company.
  • Microsoft Office Experience with strength in Excel.
 
Compensation
  • Base Salary Range $120,000 - $140,000 per annum
