Associate, Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coach

Summary:

The New York Mets have two Minor League Strength & Conditioning Associate Coach positions available at multiple sites between Florida and New York for the 2027 season. These positions will give a Strength & Conditioning Coach the opportunity to gain experience in professional baseball while being part of a multi-disciplinary performance department. The associates selected for these roles will have a variety of responsibilities as assigned by the head strength and conditioning coach.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist the assigned head strength and conditioning coach in executing training programs

• Provide evidence-based training programs under the supervision of the assigned head strength and conditioning coach

• Working as part of a coordinated performance department to implement organizational and individual programs

• Administrative duties as assigned by the assigned head strength and conditioning coach

• Analyze objective testing data to make decisions relating to individualized training programs and interventions

• Assist the assigned nutritional duties as needed

• Inventory management of strength and conditioning equipment

Qualifications:

• NSCA CSCS and CPR/First Aid certification

• Undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, or related degree

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

• 1+ years’ full-time experience in a similar role

Hourly Rate: $19.00
