Account Executive Lead - Group Sales

UMMARY

The Account Executive – Group Sales Lead is responsible for selling inventory of marketing elements including signage, hospitality, promotions, and media, as well as increasing revenue for the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Achieve or exceed sales and activity quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics
2. Develop a sales training manual for the corporate sales department
3. Prospect nationally and regionally for corporate marketing dollars
4. Generate new leads through the monitoring of television, radio, print, billboards, and other entertainment venues
5. Follow market trends in the industry to identify new sponsorship candidates
6. Establish relationships with decision-makers and generate long-term, successful partnerships by insuring an adequate level of customer service
7. Manage weekly call sheets & pending reports to reach budget
8. Create and implement marketing initiatives for clients
9. Manage individual sales report process, contract negotiation and receivables and deliver reports to Associate VP of Premium Sales and ownership as requested
10. Special assignments and projects as business dictates

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position has no supervisory responsibility

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3-5 years of previous sales experience
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated and results driven
• Organized and attentive to detail
• Finance/Legal Experience preferred
