Job Description

MLSE 50|50 is one of the largest and most impactful charitable lottery programs in Canada. Operating at Toronto Maple Leafs, Raptors, Argonauts, Toronto FC, Marlies, and other marquee events, the program raises millions of dollars each year in support of youth-focused community initiatives through MLSE Foundation.

Working as a 50|50 Sales Representative means more than selling tickets — it means creating unforgettable fan experiences, being part of the energy of live sports and entertainment, and helping turn game nights into life-changing impact for kids and communities across Ontario.

Role Overview

Reporting to the program’s Staff Supervisor, you will be on the front lines of the MLSE 50|50 program, engaging fans, driving ticket sales, and helping maximize funds raised during live events. You’ll represent MLSE Foundation with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a fan-first mindset across multiple venues and events.

Key Responsibilities

·       Bring energy and enthusiasm to every event and help create a great fan experience.

·       Connect with fans throughout the venue and introduce them to the MLSE 50|50.

·       Explain how the 50|50 works and the impact it has on youth and communities.

·       Sell 50|50 tickets using handheld mobile devices.

·       Work toward individual and team sales goals while having fun along the way.

·       Work alongside a team of fellow Ambassadors, Team Leads, and Supervisors to help make each event a success.

·       Represent MLSE Foundation and the 50|50 program in a friendly, professional, and positive way.

·       Follow program guidelines and responsible gaming practices.

Venue & Scheduling Requirements (Important)

One of the best parts of the job? You’ll get to work inside some of Toronto’s biggest sports and entertainment venues. You should be comfortable working across MLSE venues, including:

·       Scotiabank Arena

·       BMO Field

·       Coca-Cola Coliseum

Events fall primarily during evenings, including on weekends and holidays. We’re looking for people who can commit to working approximately 80% of available events in a given month, while enjoying the flexibility of an event-based role.

·       Are outgoing, friendly, and comfortable striking up conversations with all kinds of fans.

·       Bring positive energy and enthusiasm to a busy event environment.

·       Enjoy sports, live entertainment, and being part of a team.

·       Are comfortable approaching people and starting conversations.

·       Are reliable, positive, and ready to jump into the action.

·       Enjoy working on their feet and moving around throughout an event.

·       Have experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or events - but don’t worry if you don’t! We’re more interested in your energy.
