Job description
Kalshi has defined a new category: prediction markets. Kalshi allows people to trade on the outcome of any events and turn any question about the future into a financial asset. Kalshi fought for years and legalized prediction markets in the US for the first time in history, is currently the fastest growing financial market in America, and has thousands of markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more.
We believe prediction markets have the potential to be the largest financial market because they turn anything into a financial position.
Our vision: well… build the largest financial market on the planet.
Our mission: bring more truth to the world through the power of markets.
Our culture is simple: we hire really talented people, work really hard, and enjoy the climb. We are looking for ambitious and exceptional people to join our (relatively small) team to help us build the next generation of financial markets.
As a Video Producer at Kalshi, you'll be instrumental in defining how the world experiences our brand through video - from the first idea to the final cut. You'll write the scripts, shoot the footage, and edit the final product, working closely with creative, marketing, and product teams to produce highly polished, brand-focused video content that elevates our presence across all platforms. Over time, you'll help evolve Kalshi's visual storytelling, push creative boundaries with new formats, and set the standard for excellence as we scale.
Concept and write scripts for long-form and short-form videos that elevate our brand expression across all platforms and marketing materials
Own projects end-to-end: research and pitch ideas, write scripts, shoot footage (in-studio, on location, or in the field), and edit the final cut
Collaborate with creative and product teams to translate our latest UI and product releases, market events, and cultural moments into compelling video content
Plan and run shoots - including scheduling, sourcing locations, coordinating interviews or man-on-the-street segments, and operating camera and audio equipment
Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects to elevate storytelling, working with designers/animators where needed
Maintain a consistent brand look and feel across all video content, working within established brand guidelines while finding opportunities to push creative boundaries
Edit and optimize video content for various platforms including social media, web, paid advertising, and brand campaigns
Iterate quickly based on feedback while maintaining exceptionally high creative and technical quality
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
2–10 years of experience in video production, content creation, or a related creative role
Demonstrated ability to write scripts and treatments that translate an idea into a clear, compelling video
Hands-on experience shooting video - comfortable running camera, audio, and lighting for interviews, on-location shoots, and man-on-the-street style content
Strong proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and working knowledge of motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects)
A vision, passion, and endless energy to create fresh, standout video in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional understanding of pacing, storytelling, visual composition, and interviewing/directing on-camera talent or the public
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end video production - from concept and script through shoot and final edit
Proven ability to work with brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across projects
Strong attention to detail and a refined creative eye for polished, professional content
Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback openly, and work collaboratively
Salary Range: $150,000 to $225,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
