We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated In-Arena Host to assist team members with bringing energy and excitement to the in-arena show for the Valley Suns. 

 

Your Role on the Team

  • Serve as the primary on-court personality for the Valley Suns by performing in front of an audience with professionalism, energy and enthusiasm at all home games. 
  • Participate in pre-production meetings, rehearsals and soundchecks for promotions and activations. 
  • Ensure all Live Presentation promotions and activations are explained clearly and accurately to our fans.
  • Host community and brand events throughout the community 

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Ability to memorize and recite specific copy, including partner taglines & introductions. 
  • Must demonstrate a strong on-camera presence, professionalism, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to ad-lib when necessary and operate within strict timing guidelines
  • Must provide great interpersonal skills to all staff, fans & other stakeholders
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience in live events 
  • A strong knowledge of basketball and the Valley Suns is preferred  
  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Ability to transit throughout the arena for long periods of time.
  • This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is <5%
  • S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Ability to Read, Write & Speak in English
