Job description

At Sportradar, we take pride in offering the most reliable and innovative cricket analytics in the market, helping fans and clients unlock the full potential of the world’s second most popular sport—followed by over 2 billion people! Our Premium Cricket team, a diverse group of analysts, statisticians, and developers based in London, has been at the forefront of cricket analytics for over 15 years. Now, we’re looking for new talent to join us in shaping the future of cricket data.

🏏Calling all Cricket Enthusiasts to join our team as a Cricket Trading Analyst 🏏

Your Role as a Cricket Trading Analyst:

As a Cricket Trading Analyst, you’ll work with a dedicated team to analyse the game, develop models, and provide insights that drive the sport forward.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Use your cricket knowledge to make informed pre-match and live predictions.
  • Analyse trends and patterns by researching and interpreting cricket data.
  • Collaborate with our team to enhance existing models or develop new ones.
  • Provide clear, thoughtful client support to ensure they can fully utilise our insights.
  • Stay adaptable and perform well in fast-paced environments aligned with the sports calendar.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Cricket Enthusiasm: You love the game and have a deep understanding of it.
  • Exceptional maths skills, you’re comfortable working with data and spotting patterns.
  • You are skilled in Excel and eager to learn new systems.
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to catch any discrepancies or issues.
  • Comfortable managing tasks in high-pressure situations.

    OUR OFFER:

    • A collaborative environment with colleagues from all over the world (Offices in Europe, Asia and US) including various social events and teambuilding.
    • Flexibility to manage your workday and tasks with autonomy.
    • A balance of structure and autonomy to tackle your daily tasks.
    • Vibrant and inclusive community, including Women in Tech and Pride groups which welcome all participants.
    • Global Employee Assistance Programme.
    • Calm and Reulay app (leading well-being apps designed to support focus, quality rest, mindfulness, and long-term mental resilience).
    • Online training videos.

While we appreciate the flexibility and benefits of working from home, we strongly believe that coming together in person fosters stronger connections, encourages collaboration, and drives innovation—both as individuals and as a company. The energy, shared ideas, and team support we experience in the office strengthen the foundation of our success and culture. For this reason, we are an office-first business operating on a fully on-site model, with team members working in the office five days a week to build relationships, exchange ideas, and grow together.

To help us understand how your unique skills and experiences align with our team, we invite you to answer the following questions instead of submitting a traditional cover letter.

    • Best World XI for T20 - select your ideal team with brief explanations
    • If you had access to our cricket ball-by-ball database for one day, what would you research?
    • Most underrated player - who deserves more recognition based on stats
    • How would you try to win money if you were gambling on cricket?

    OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

    • Initial Screening: to understand your background and expectations.
    • Assessment: Short online assessment demonstrating your cricket skills.
    • Hiring Team Interview: Meet with the Hiring team and Hiring Manager to dive into your expertise, as also discuss team fit.
    • Finals Steps: Receive feedback and, if successful, an offer!

If you're ready to join a team that values your unique insights and is passionate about the future of cricket analytics, we want to hear from you.

Cricket isn't just a game—it's a way of life. Join us and be part of something extraordinary!  🏏
