As we continue to scale our global platform, the Sr. Inventory Analyst will play a critical role in strengthening inventory accuracy, financial controls, and operational decision-making across Fanatics Brands' internal and external network.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Sr. Inventory Analyst supports the Inventory Integrity team within Fanatics Brands by analyzing inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes, and translating findings into sustainable cross-functional business process and system improvements. Working closely with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Distribution, Supply Chain, and Technology, this role ensures inventory transactions are recorded accurately, classified appropriately, and supported by effective SOX controls — while also contributing to transformational initiatives including new ERP and inventory-management capabilities. The Sr. Inventory Analyst delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT

Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)

  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Distribution, Supply Chain, and Technology to ensure inventory transactions are recorded accurately and controls are consistently applied across the network.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on end-to-end inventory business processes, translating findings into standard operating procedures, control enhancements, and training that elevate team capability and alignment.
  • Support ERP transition and inventory-control projects through analysis, testing, implementation, and post-launch stabilization, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful adoption.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)

  • Ensure inventory accuracy and on-time availability of licensed fan merchandise by identifying and resolving discrepancies quickly, with durable corrective actions that minimize recurrence.
  • Build and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and exception reporting that measure service-level performance and provide business partners with clear, actionable insights to improve inventory accountability and operational performance.
  • Support cycle-count programs, reconciliations, and inventory monitoring frameworks across internal and external facilities to sustain reliable fulfillment for fans across all channels.
  • Contribute to new process and system rollouts that enhance the speed and accuracy with which fan orders are processed and fulfilled across the Fanatics Brands network.

Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)

  • Mine and analyze inventory and transaction data from multiple platforms, connecting disparate data sources to build interactive dashboards and actionable reporting using Excel, Microsoft Access, MicroStrategy, and emerging AI capabilities.
  • Apply data-mining and exception-reporting techniques across high-volume SKU, location, and transaction data to proactively surface risk indicators and process breakdowns before they impact financial results.
  • Identify high-risk operational processes and recommend practical process, control, and technology solutions — including AI-enabled analytical tools — that drive scalable, sustainable improvement.
  • Develop and implement cross-functional inventory processes and controls that support SOX compliance while advancing the organization's broader digital and automation capabilities.

Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)

  • Analyze and reconcile inventory discrepancies, determine root causes, quantify business impact, and drive corrective actions — recommending financial reserves where appropriate to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive inventory monitoring and control framework across internal and external facilities, including aging and activity analysis, risk indicators, audits, and cycle-count programs.
  • Manage competing priorities with a strong sense of urgency and constructive judgment, working independently to meet deadlines during demanding situations including financial close cycles and ERP transition milestones.
  • Travel approximately 15–20% to support inventory audits and the rollout of new processes or systems across the Fanatics Brands network.
AI & DIGITAL CAPABILITY

We are building a future-ready organization. This role is expected to:

  • Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes
  • Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance
  • Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in adopting new technologies and ways of working
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze multiple data sources and business processes, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable recommendations with measurable business impact.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, advanced logic-based formulas, PivotTables, lookup functions, connecting disparate data sources, and data visualization.
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory, manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics processes, including cycle-count programs, inventory controls, and warehouse-management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply structured problem-solving techniques and implement sustainable business-process improvements across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to work independently and manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with ERP platforms (Oracle or SAP), business intelligence platforms (Power BI or MicroStrategy), SQL, Microsoft Access, SharePoint, AI-enabled analytical tools, and/or APICS certification in inventory management or a related discipline.
