We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events Intern to support the planning and execution of engaging, successful events. This position offers hands-on experience in event coordination, vendor management, logistics, and on-site operations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, creative, and eager to build a career in events, hospitality, or a related field.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and coordinating meetings, conferences, events, and other programs.
  • Research potential clients, vendors, entertainment, and event materials.
  • Help maintain event timelines, checklists, calendars, and customer communications.
  • Support in responding to routine participant inquiries.
  • Prepare event materials, signage, presentations, and day-of itineraries as needed.
  • Aid in activating a variety of locations throughout the ballpark.
  • Coordinate event-related communications with organizers, vendors, sponsors, and attendees.
  • Provide on-site support with setup, registration, guest assistance, vendor coordination, and breakdown.
  • Collect attendee feedback and help prepare post-event reports.
  • Perform administrative duties and other event-related tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in event management, hospitality, communications, public relations, business, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Careful attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Availability to work occasional mornings/evenings or weekends, depending on the event schedule.
  • Previous event, hospitality, customer service, or administrative experience is helpful but not required.

 

Compensation

This position is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt role with an expected pay of $16.90/hr.
