 About the role

 Fanatics is seeking a Senior eMarketing Specialist to join the digital marketing team, supporting paid media across multiple channels, including Google, Amazon, and social  platforms.

 This position will drive Fanatics Authentic and our collectibles/memorabilia business, a fast-growing, high-visibility area driven by product drops, athlete demand, and major sports  moments. The focus is on optimizing spend across digital marketing KPIs, driving demand for launches and always-on campaigns, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency  and scale.

 It’s a hands-on position with direct ownership of campaigns in-platform, requiring a strong understanding of how to manage spend, analyze performance, and turn data into actionable  decisions that drive measurable business outcomes.

 Work in this space moves quickly and is closely tied to real-time sports events and limited product releases. Campaigns often require quick adjustments, strong attention to detail, and  the ability to react in the moment to maximize impact.

 A strong analytical mindset, comfort working with large data sets, and the ability to interpret trends and act on them are key. The work leans heavily on ownership, problem-solving,  and continuous improvement, with exposure across a broad set of digital channels and tools.

 Interest in sports is a plus, especially if the collectibles and memorabilia space feels like something you’d want to be closer to.

 Responsibilities

  • Paid campaign execution across Google (Search, Shopping, PMAX), Meta, Amazon, and other channels
  • Budget allocation and spend adjustments based on performance, product priorities, and key events
  • Campaign readiness and support for product launches and drops
  • Ongoing monitoring of campaign performance and identification of areas for improvement
  • Structured testing across creative, targeting, bidding strategies, and campaign setup
  • Reallocation of spend from underperforming areas to higher-performing opportunities
  • Collaboration with product, analytics, and creative teams to improve campaign execution
  • Translating campaign data into clear insights and actionable recommendations

 Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of experience running paid media campaigns
  • Hands-on experience working directly in platforms such as Google Ads, Amazon Ads, and/or paid social (Meta, etc.)
  • Experience owning campaigns end-to-end, including setup, optimization, and budget management (not limited to reporting or coordination)
  • Strong understanding of core metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CVR, and revenue impact
  • Ability to make decisions based on data and adjust quickly
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

 Nice to have

  • Experience in ecommerce or DTC environments
  • Exposure to YouTube or additional paid channels
  • Familiarity with SQL or deeper data analysis tools
  • Interest in sports, memorabilia, and fan culture

 The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $95,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base  pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.

  • Hybrid work environment in our San Mateo office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays); Mondays and Fridays flexibility to work remotely.
