Retail Associate, Dadeland Mall

The Miami Heat Retail Store at Dadeland Mall is seeking to hire a Retail Associate! The Retail Sales Associate's main responsibility is to sell merchandise and attend to customers in the Dadeland Mall store. Effectively use product knowledge to sell all merchandise and adhere to the customer service program. Six months to one year of cashier/retail experience and strong customer service skills preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise, and providing outstanding customer service.
• Operating cash registers.
• Achieving individual sales goals.
• Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
• Increasing in-store sales.
• Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
• Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
• Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
• Adhere to all policies and security procedures.

• High school diploma or general educational degree (GED); Very organized and detail-oriented. Able to adapt to a fast-paced, fluid environment while balancing multiple tasks at once. Must be able to lift merchandise, merchandising equipment, and boxes up to 50 pounds.
