This position is within a unionized bargaining unit and union membership will be required. Assignment end dates are tentative and subject to change.
Position Summary:
As a Production Assistant, you will work within the Footage group to fulfill footage requests for broadcast partners, marketing partners and 3rd party licensees.
Major Responsibilities:
Searching through the NBA’s media archive
Creating and sending footage playlists
Creating media timelines
Posting footage to FTP folders and various media delivery points
Logging/providing description of footage
Curating video assets in the archive, managing the transfer of video files
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Superior level of basketball and historical knowledge
Strong computer and technical skills
Video editing experience, particularly using Adobe Premiere
Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as active listening skills
Precise and detail-oriented approach to all tasks
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to multi-task
Must display a passion for the history of basketball
Educational Background Required:
Bachelor’s degree required
Salary Range:
$24.04/hr
