Avalanche Agency is an entity of KSE and is responsible for content planning, creation and distribution for the Colorado Avalanche.
The Post Production Manager and Editor is responsible for managing post-production activities for the Colorado Avalanche. This role oversees the end-to-end editorial workflow—ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of video content—while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and production teams. The position combines post-production management responsibilities with hands-on editing support to ensure content meets the team’s standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Post-Production Processes: Manage the day-to-day post-production workflow for all assigned productions, including planning, scheduling, and delivery.
- Content Editing and Finishing: Edit and assemble video assets for game-day and off-ice content, ensuring technical and creative requirements are met.
- Manage Editorial Workflow: Coordinate ingest, organization, versioning, review cycles, and final export/delivery across multiple projects.
- Quality Control: Ensure video content adheres to brand and technical standards
- Deadline Management: Maintain project timelines for daily/weekly content deliverables and drive production teams to meet turnaround needs.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with producers, creative staff, marketing/digital teams, and AltitudeTV to implement feedback efficiently.
- Communication and Coordination: Provide clear updates, manage review rounds, and communicate risks or delays proactively.
- File Management and Documentation: Maintain organized archives, project documentation, and consistent naming/versioning best practices.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement workflow improvements to increase efficiency, consistency, and post-production throughput.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video editing and post-production workflows, preferably in sports, broadcast, or live event environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage timelines , coordinate multiple projects, and complete work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills , including the ability to coordinate and facilitate feedback between creative and technical stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of standard post-production tools and file delivery workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot common post-production issues and manage revisions efficiently.

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 a year
