Job Title: Merchandise Intern

Position Overview:
The Iowa Cubs are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Merchandise Interns to join our team for the 2027 season. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in retail operations within Minor League Baseball. Reporting directly to the Manager, Retail Merchandise, interns will assist with all aspects of the team’s retail and online store operations. Internship duration is flexible and can be tailored to each candidate’s availability and academic schedule, with the season running from March through September 2027. While multiple interns will be hired for the season, at least one candidate must be available to start before the season begins to assist with incoming merchandise deliveries and store preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with restocking and maintaining product displays in the team store
- Support inventory management through regular counts, organization, and data entry
- Help manage the online store, including processing orders and updating product listings
- Assist with ordering and tracking incoming merchandise shipments
- Help manage gameday staff, including scheduling, task delegation, and maintaining store standard
- Help maintain and run Team Store social media, including creating and posting content, promoting products, and engaging with fans
- Provide excellent customer service to fans and staff
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the merchandise department

- Must be available to work all Iowa Cubs home games and special events throughout the season.
